Welcome to Coastal Ga. CPR

So here we Go! My first blog. Let me introduce my self, I am Curtis Johnson, owner and founder of Coastal Ga. CPR. I have completed two careers at this point in my life and here we are on the third. So you ask, why I am I doing this. Very simply , I saw a need and I have the skills and desire to take action. I was taught a long time ago, “If you see something not getting done and it bothers you, you are probably the one to do something about it”. So where do we begin? As a teenager, my mother always said I would help anyone in need and that passion has followed me my whole life. I have work many jobs in my 65 years of life and even today, I can say that has made me who I am. I began my medical involvement in 1985 as a volunteer firefighter/EMT in Washington State while active duty in the US Navy Submarine force. As I transferred so did my involvement, next in Groton CT. with Groton Ambulance and then in Kingsland, Ga with the Kingsland Fire Department until my retirement from the Navy. The last 20 years have been working for the Navy as a Occupational Safety Specialist and the Commands CPR program manager, and now here we are serving our community. I saw a need to establish a full time CPR training business focused on providing training in a area where class we at the convenience of the instructor and not the Student. We offer classes regularly and when the client needs it, both mobile and at their location. We hope you will continue follow us as we grow and provide more training to equip everyone who needs or want this training.
