Coastal GA CPR’s Mission in Action
At Coastal GA CPR, we believe that every heartbeat matters. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to equip our community with the life-saving skills of CPR training in Coastal Georgia and AED certification, especially in underserved and rural areas.
Why It Matters
Sudden cardiac arrest can strike anyone, anywhere, at any time. Yet, survival rates dramatically increase when bystanders are trained and confident in performing hands-only CPR. In many communities across Coastal Georgia, access to CPR education is limited — and that’s where we come in.
What We Do
- Free and low-cost CPR/AED training for individuals, families, and organizations.
- Community outreach events to raise awareness and build a culture of emergency preparedness.
- Partnerships with schools, churches, and local nonprofits to expand access to life-saving CPR classes.
- Advocacy for equitable health education and emergency response resources.
Recent Highlights
This summer, we’ve:
- Trained over 300 residents in hands-only CPR techniques.
- Installed 5 new AEDs in high-traffic community centers.
- Partnered with local youth programs to teach CPR to teens — empowering the next generation of community first responders.
Looking Ahead
We’re currently applying for a grant from the American Heart Association’s Social Impact Fund to expand our reach even further. With this support, we aim to:
- Launch a mobile CPR training unit to serve remote areas in Coastal Georgia.
- Host CPR certification drives in collaboration with local employers and health organizations.
